Gah! Easy Fortune, Happy Life is ♥ ♥ ♥.
I know that it is a typical idol drama, but I love how natural the two actors act and how romantic and intellectual their scenes are thought out.

Da Feng: Blue Lan
Fu An: Qiao En Chen
Dong Jie: Roy Qiu
Zhen Zhen: Jocelyn Wang

Artist of the Month

2PM is erratic. SMEXY boys!!!
2PM
Ta-da!!!The artist of the month award goes to 2PM. Well, I am slowly liking this band. They are a group of TALENTED. Yes, let me stress that again... TALENTED, singers, dancers, and rappers. I like to see them do more projects. M-net Scandal is a must-see because of them. Hope you guys will keep on doing better. AGAIN and AGAIN!!!

Tandem of the Month

SOEUL so much?!?
Yi Jung and Gaeul

Boys Over Flowers will always be remembered because of these two sweethearts. They look good together on-cam. No wonder why many supporters are asking for their team-up.

Pretty Boy + Pretty Girl = Great Tandem!!!

Drama of the Month

a bittersweet story

"The life of Go Eun Chan (Yoon Eun Hye) is not easy; she works many jobs to pay off debts and even gave up her feminine image. Choi Han Kyul (Gong Yoo) is the heir of a big food company, but his grandmother wants him to settle down, so she arranged many dates for him. After Eun Chan bumped into Han Kyul and was mistaken for a boy, Han Kyul decided to hire Eun Chan to be his gay lover in order to avoid the arranged dates. Desperately in need of money, Eun Chan had no choice but to accept. Han Kyul's grandmother also made Han Kyul in charge of a filthy coffee shop in danger of being bankrupt. Eun Chan begged to work at the coffee shop, and not long after, feelings start to spark, except, how would Han Kyul accept his "homosexuality"?" -- DramaWiki

Genie: Royal Pirates vs. SNSD
sisa Friday, July 10, 2009 6:52 PM 4loves

Ok. I will to write this one as objective as I can. Promise! I'll try doing my best. So, let's see. Royal Pirates, a US-base Korean band, did a cover of SNSD's Genie (Tell Me Your Wish). Honestly, I liked their version better. Don't know if it's because I enjoy listening to rock music, or if I just simply don't like SNSD. Nevertheless, the two vids are a must-see.

Less cuteness here, of course, for SNSD. I mean, they are sporting their bodies and acting all innocent [duh! urgh! I hate it when they do those cutesy stuff and at the same time show-off their undies]. Might as well follow the lead of Hyori, girls. I like this girl [Hyori] and I like the truthfulness in her.

However, well I don't think that SNSD is pure-looks (because I find all of them 'plastics' and fake), I must say they have talent (some, I guess). They dance well and sing fairly good. What dumbfounds me is how they manage to market themselves, as a group. They are pretty good on stage and tweens just love them. SNSD's new MV (disclaimer: turn-off the BG music by clicking 'pause' on the playlist, located at the right sidebar):

Royal Pirates, on the other hand, caught my attention after seeing them with their famous Wonder Girls' "Nobody" cover. I find them pure talent. Seeing two guys rock the hell out of k-pop songs made me H-A-P-P-Y. Not to mention, their DBSK's "Mirotic" version. Don't know 'bout you guys, but after listening to their cover of Mirotic they surely did get me under their skin. Here's Royal Pirates' Genie cover:

I guess if one is not used to rock music, he may not appreciate the cover. But, my goodness! The drumstick twirling got me off my feet already. Hope to see more Royal Pirates cover. And for SNSD, keep it up lizards. I mean, girls. You're all doing fine. Practice more and prove that your anti-fans are wrong.

WINNER: Royal Pirates
