Last July 12 was 2NE1's comeback stage performance on KBS's Music Bank. The female group performed the songs "Pretty Boy" and "I Don't Care" live, which wowed the crowd.
Netizens from different countries started praising the group for doing a great live performance. Many commended the four saying that they sounded like the songs recorded on their CD. Some, however, were still unimpressed with Dara thinking that she is the weakest of the four.
Well, if you are going to ask me I can say that the girls did great. They danced well and most especially, they SANG GREAT (unlike other girl groups who are marketing their way to the music scene with their number). ::Amen::
Moreover, I can see how Dara has improved from her annoying sweet image in the Philippines to her now punky-poppy features. I also appreciate how she managed to learn how to sing and dance. Gah! ::grins:: Well, I have my personal accounts ofhow despicable and icky Dara was when she was still in the Philippines. Not that I don't like her then. It is just that I find her more deserving of fame today than before.
For people who are not aware of how big the magnitude of Dara was during her stay in the Philippines, I will give a brief side note on that. Dara won a famous star search program in the Philippines under ABS-CBN management. She did not win the grand prize, but she did capture the hearts of the management and many Filipinos. One can even say that she became a star overnight. She recorded songs, had television shows, and even filmed a movie which made her even more famous.
I think she is indeed the weakest of the four, but she is definitely the most charming.Ithink YG Entertainment should not trade in anybody for her place in the group. She fits the group perfectly. Well, for one she is the only girl among the four who is refreshing to see. I do believe she needs more practice, but kudos to her and her milestone achievement now. I must say, YG is definitely handling 2NE1 (esp. DARA) well.
I think people enjoyed their performance last July 12 because it was full of youth and energy. It is not everyday that girl groups exude energy and vigor in their performances. Most of the time, girl groups go: too cutesy- too sweet- too irritating; or too sexy / revealing. With 2NE1, people can see talents before personalities. Before the people who are performing.

WHAT YOU CAN SEE HERE:
1. Joongbo. Hehe. Of course, Joongbo is my top priority in this blog. I hope I can keep up with the demands of updating things I think of and enjoy about my beloved on-screen couple.
2. Easy Fortune Happy Life. Right now, with episode 6, I think the drama is kindda slowing down its pace, but the HECK I care. hihihi.
Fact of the matter is I like the plot (not the pacing, though), the actors, the characters, and OMG the SKINSHIPS. More kisses for Ciao En and Blue. Please. Please.
3. Korean music stars. Basically, I blog about Korean music. You'll see posts about 2NE1 (I love them), Brown Eyed Girls (another good girl group), SS501, and of course 2PM (my fave hotties). ^^
4. Somehow related to #3, bashing on SNSD. *JOKE! Hahaha!
Let's just say that I don't like them, but I don't hate them.
I find some of their songs COOL, while GENIE bores me to death (can't even think of a decent reason why it stayed on top of weeks).
I hope I can give good critiques on this group's performance 'cause honestly, I am waiting for a HIT from this group.
SNSD fans, sorry they are not that appealing to me (music-wise).
They are pretty (yes, some of them) but they are just not my FAVE. I know this is PREJUDICE, so suck it up!
5. Drama Reviews. This, I think, is the hardest of the tasks I burdened myself to do in order to maintain this blog. I hope I can make summaries and reviews.
6. Tops. This blog also features lists of 'randomness'. I hope I can supply pertinent info. on my faves and my raves.
7. Fan Fic-dom. Yep! I am not a good writer, though, but I want to maintain fan fics. I like writing things about my favorite couples. I hope I can make you guys happy with the stories I write...

The Brown Eyed Girls is a Korean girl group consisting of 4 members : Jea (Kim, Hyo Jin), Ga-in (Son, Ga-in), Narsha (Park, Hyo Jin) and Miryo (Cho, Mihyea). Though the group debuted in 2006, it was not until 2008's release of their mini-album (WITH LOVE) that they've become known and supported by fans.
Their new album, "Sound G", was released on last July 23. People can expect funky music in their album, especially with their now famous and disputed single, Abracadabra.
